In January 2018 we established a world leading Logistics Centre of Excellence to steer our organisation through changing environmental demands. Our new Global Logistics Function manages the way our products move around the world and will become a key part of the performance of our end to end supply chain.

We have developed a single Global Logistics Function which will be a world leader in the way we ship our products. As part of this new strategy we will be investing in our capability as an organisation, significantly raising the bar and we will have an extensive training and development programme for all our logistics colleagues.

As a Logistics Analyst (Process Controlled Transportation) you will be part of a logistics team that will establish and maintain the global standards and processes for the transportation and storage of all AstraZeneca pharmaceutical product, per product label temperature requirements. You will support Global & Regional teams in co-ordinating complaints management, compliance monitoring, risk management and other activities associated with the operation of the global network according to a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, biennial or ad hoc cycle of events.

Key accountabilities:

In this role, you will process and investigate supply and logistics and temperature excursion complaints.

You will be required to work with Supply Sites and Logistics Service Providers to identify root cause analysis and implement any corrective and preventive actions.

You will prepare a number of reports which will include complaints handling performance reports and complaints trending reports. You will also present findings from these reports to the PCT team to support continuous process improvement.

You will also undertake compliance monitoring support to regional & global logistics and logistics quality leaders.

You will need to ensure you manage your workload to ensure the timely resolution of complaints.

You will also act as a SABA cloud, GCM & Trackwise reporting super-user.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience working in logistics

  • Proven analytical skills

  • Good problem solving / investigational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal & communications skills

  • Good understanding of the business context ie logistics, shipping, freight management, Good Distribution Practices.

  • Intermediate proficient Microsoft skills

  • Fluent in English
