As an Associate Director, US Pricing located in Wilmington, DE you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. North American Commercial is the ‘face’ of AstraZeneca and MedImmune to our many healthcare clients. They represent many of the most well recognized and respected products in the industry, and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

The Associate Director, US Pricing is responsible to support the US Pricing team and Market Access business unit with the development and execution of brand specific pricing strategies. Their work will include collaboration on pricing research, clinical profile evaluation, market analogues and maintenance of both internal and competitive pricing data and documents. This individual will assist in drafting presentations for various stakeholders and role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. The US Pricing Associate Director will help coordinate lifecycle brand communications and activities, work with vendors, and follow up on outstanding items as necessary. He/She will partner with Market Access, Finance, Insights, Brand teams, Government Pricing team and others as needed in support of pricing strategies, developing and documenting requirements, protocols, templates, and outcomes.

Additionally, the Associate Director, US Pricing will partner with Medical colleagues to understand dosing and clinical profile for the evaluation of pricing strategies. This role will work closely with Market Access colleagues to ensure the full market access landscape is understood and clearly articulated in pricing strategies. Additional responsibilities for this role include: competitive landscape research to inform and shape pricing and launch strategies; support, analysis and presentations pertaining to pricing, quarterly reviews; internal and external communications; project management across multiple assets and therapeutic classes; documentation creation of governance outcomes, requirements, guidance, and templates; and excel documentation maintenance.


· Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a relevant field (Marketing, Science, Economics or Finance)

· 5+ years of pharmaceutical or related healthcare business

· Understanding of Market Access and Healthcare delivery

· Logic and mathematical skills

· Highly proficient in Excel and Word and PowerPoint

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

· Strong attention to detail and trends


  • MBA

  • Healthcare Industry/Market Access experience
