AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP Junior Global Category Specialist (GMD) in Warsaw, Poland

Responsible for:

·Delivering of the Category Strategy, as required by the Global Category teams by establishing the sub/category strategy on a global level

·Supporting the development of Annual Category Plans

·Enhancing the relationship across the globe, engaging with procurement & business stakeholders to align with the assigned category strategy

·Implementing the category strategy as a global solution across the whole globe

·Providingproject management support to specific category related projects

·High standards in cooperation with business stakeholders, ability to connect and build strong relationship with stakeholders across the globe (matrix organization)

·High influencing skills to implement the best solution for AZ

·Supporting the development of category targets, and delivering savings targets where appropriate

·Ensure the company's purchasing policies are fully complied with, particularly pertaining to risk and reputation

·Supportingthe collection of supplier, market, category and internal business information at both the category and sub-category levels

·Supportingcategory Supplier Performance and Innovation activities

·Supporting the Global Category Lead to track and document risk and issue management for the category assigned

Anny other tasks assigned by Line Manager

Education

·University degree required

Experience:

·Minimum 1-3 years of procurement experience, ideally including category management ideally on regional / global level but not as a must

·Experience in managing stakeholders across the globe within the matrix organization

·Experiencing in category strategy implementation without the merit on many markets

·Experience with data management / spend analytics

Skills:

·Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present information in a clear and concise format to all levels within the organization

·Excellent influencing skills in the matrix organization

·Ability to engage fast with the stakeholders on different level in the organization

·Project management skills

·Microsoft Office proficiency

·Strong relationship and business partnering skills

Language capabilities:

·Written and spoken proficiency in English and Polish (Polish is not a must)

Additional language would be a benefit but not a must
