AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP Centralized Monitoring IT Specialist in Warsaw, Poland
The CM IT Specialist (CMITS) is responsible for maintenance of IT systems used by CM Team to support clinical trials with central review of data. CMITS will maintain the technology framework in operational and validated state. To fulfil these responsibilities CMITS will closely collaborate with CM Analysts (CMAs) and CM System Owner (Enablement).
CMITS will support CMAs with trainings on the use of IT systems and development and validation of CM functionalities. CMITS will also work closely with CM Analytics Lead (CMAL) to support development and maintenance of CM analytical framework and technology.
This role is located within Centralized Monitoring, Clinical Operations Therapeutic Areas, Clinical Operations and reports to Centralized Monitoring Manager.
CM IT Specialist will be responsible for:
Maintenance of IT systems used by CM Team:
Monitoring of systems use by CM team
Collaboration with system owners
Maintenance/development of utilities supporting CM’s work in the systems
Establishing and maintenance of connections to data sources
Coordination of migrations between different environments of the systems
Monitoring and administration of CM databases
Management of technical incidents
Collaboration with CMAs to maintain CM functionalities in a validated state (in accordance to the most current validation requirements)
Review of validation documentation
Oversight of archiving of validation documentation
Supporting CMAs with trainings on:
use of IT systems
development and validation of CM functionalities
Supporting CMAL in activities related to development and maintenance of CM analytics and technology
MSc Degree or equivalent (degree in informatics / computer sciences will be an advantage)
Programming skills (R, SAS)
Previous work experience with Cisco Information Server, Spotfire, Bitbucket, Snaplogic and/or Jenkins will be an advantage
Previous work experience with design and/or maintenance of databases will be an advantage
Knowledge of Risk-Based Monitoring (RBM) methodology and tools, industry trends, and role and place of CM within RBM will be an advantage
Strong focus on delivery with high quality
