As an IT Manager in Singapore, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering life-changing medicines to patients.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage Information Technology delivery and provide support for Information Technology programmes and plans that enable the Singapore organisation’s objectives, incorporating mid to long term business and Information Technology strategic priorities.
Experience working with operations and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
Manage local contractor, ensuring all systems, networks, hardware, and software are in good working order, with security, availability, and confidentiality maintained.
Generate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for production systems and services.
Work with IT Director to develop strategies for ongoing technology improvements, planning for growth, security, and compliance standards adherence.
Recommend solutions and participate in technical research and discovery.
Create, review, and maintain documentation on infrastructure and its architecture and configuration. Work with other global IT teams to identify and resolve issues, maintain and improve infrastructure, and strategize for growth.
Engage with third-party vendors as needed for support and projects.
Degree level education or equivalent in IT
Proven track record in demand and portfolio management activities with knowledge of sales and marketing functions (preferably Pharma industry)
Strong general management skills, including proven track record of effective management of a local IT department
Excellent team-working skills (especially in a culturally diverse, demanding environment) and a willingness to get alongside issues, provide clear direction and drive results
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence local marketing company decision-making
Sound understanding of change management and the organisational impacts of changes to IT solutions
Proven ability to work under pressure, with local, regional and head offices
Proven record in end user technologies support and optimization (Office 365, SharePoint, Box, Digital Signatures, PrintLogix)
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and vice versa
Leadership skills with a focus on developing talent with the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate.
Autonomy to execute and take decisions.
Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to develop innovative ideas and solutions.
Budget management and administration skills.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Project management skills
May have membership of appropriate professional bodies
Subject Matter Expert in either Digital / Field Sales channels or Sales Analytics
