Key Responsibilities:

As the Change and Engagement Manager within GBS, you will manage the communication going out mainly to GBS employees, stakeholders, current customers and potential future GBS talent.

You will work with the GBS Leadership Team and GBS communication network to develop comprehensive, integrated communication plans including developing overarching message platforms for all content going to the core GBS teams managing communication, change and engagement initiatives across the target groups: stakeholders, candidate, customer, potential customers, GBS employees and AZ employees

It will be essential to coordinate the selling message and direction coming from the GBS Leadership Team and service lines and work with the teams to ensure a consistent, integrated flow of communication to the target audience

You will need to ensures all assets share a unified, on-brand look and feel that reflect the company’s business priorities and strategy

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Prioritise GBS key messages and act as a gatekeeper

  • Ensure communications are continuous, consistent and distributed through appropriate channels

  • Uncover issues proactively, identify trends and concerns within the selling team, crafts strategic communication plans to shape current thinking

  • Advise engagement teams on sequencing for communication cascades, counsels national sales directors on message, approach and style for planned communications

  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration and information exchange across service lines

  • Support execution of GBS engagement model

  • Support development and consistent use of promotion channels

  • Ensure that content from GBS embedded into ongoing internal corporate communication has some performance management functions, and coordinate a team of communications professionals to ensure effective delivery of engagement initiatives

Essential Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, marketing or related field

  • Considerable communications experience

  • Ability to set and manage priorities, resources, goals, and project initiatives

  • Experience managing communication professionals

  • First-rate coordination, collaboration, organization and multi-tasking skills

  • Experience in supporting Leadership Teams

  • Thorough knowledge of sales operations

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with sales, marketing and other commercial communications

  • Corporate and internal communications experience

  • Ability to understand and interpret scientific and medical data

Note - this is an initial fixed term contract until end of December 2018
