We are recruiting a

Finance Business Partner (ad interim 4-6 months)

In this role you are supporting the delivery of the company objectives. You are providing quality financial and commercial input into investment decisions, challenging key forecasting assumptions, identifying risks & opportunities and delivering expert business partnering with quality financial analysis.

You are recognized by your internal customers as a business expert with a specialism in Finance. You will be part of a global network of Finance Business Partners, Finance Business Managers and Business Analysts, sharing best practice and delivering valued support to the Business with global consistency and efficiency.

Your main tasks:

  • Coordinate the short and long-term planning and budgeting processes of the Swiss subsidiary. Ensure accurate and on time submission.

  • Prepare forecasts for the sales and costs areas under direct responsibility of the business finance team.

  • Work closely with the brand teams and budget holders during planning processes and on an ongoing basis.

  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting and variance analysis of actuals versus latest view.

  • Create Partnerships and collaborate with the extended Finance teams to prepare and deliver expected reporting and planning on a timely and accurate basis

  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team during the month, quarter and year-end closing.

  • Support in cross-functional teams Business Case preparation. Provide as appropriate input, analysis, forecast and feedback.

  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems usage, working practices and governance in your area of responsibility.

  • Develop the financial understanding of non-finance managers

Your profile:

  • Qualified finance professional.

  • Experience of Finance Business Partnering.

  • Experience of working in a global pharmaceutical organization and ideally understanding of the drug development life cycle and/or commercial aspects.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including oral & written.

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build networks and work effectively in matrix organization.

  • High energy, high ownership and perseverance to drive results and deliver on objectives.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). Able to assimilate new systems fast. Desirable experience: SAP, Hyperion, SmartView.

  • Languages: stylistically confident German as well as fluent in English.
