As a Technical Support Engineer you will support and contribute to the Packing function at our Macclesfield Campus by solving problems, unlocking performance from our assets, delivering processes, initiatives and projects

Responsibilities:

You will work with the Packing function as part of the improvement team, delivering targeted improvements, that reduce and control the variability in the process, or improves the robustness of the manufacturing asset

This will involve collating and analysing data to drive improvement, developing business cases and manage/deliver change using appropriate techniques, contributing to initiatives and projects.

You will manage/deliver local changes thus providing problem resolution to production issues, demonstrating an uplift in the assets performance following compliant implementation to a future state. You will understand Key Performance Indicators, such as OEE, Schedule Adherence and Downtime.

Integrating with local and wider functional teams you will ensure that you deliver compliant improvements associated with compliance in health and safety, GMP, robustness and reliability.

Requirements:

Ideally you will have an engineering qualification of a technical/ vocational nature to a minimum of HNC level. You will have significant and relevant delivery experience of initiatives and local improvement practices within a highly regulated environment.

You should have statistical understanding and the ability to produce technical reports and documents.

Ideally you will have an understanding of Lean tools and techniques. A six sigma qualification would be beneficial.
