The Nordic-Baltic (NOBA) Marketing Company employs around 450 people across 7 countries and has offices located in Södertälje, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. As the Medical Advisor Oncology you are responsible for providing medical and clinical oncology knowledge into management throughout the product lifecycle and develop/deliver proactive and reactive communication to customers on a Nordic/Baltic and/or local level. The Medical Advisor Oncology will be expected to give input into cross-functional projects on a Nordic/Baltic and/or local level.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop peer-level relationships and cooperation with Key External Experts (KEEs), other important decision makers, and researchers in a way that is consistent with the overall company strategy and objectives

  • Drive proactive and reactive customer interactions by collecting and sharing medical and scientific knowledge across the oncology portfolio

  • Act as a Nordic/Baltic and/or local oncology expert supporting other functions within area/s of expertise

  • Work across Medical Affairs Oncology and Business Unit Oncology to define brand strategies, cross functional operational plans, medical activity plans and key deliverables including value stories and reimbursement dossiers

  • Work closely with Medical Affairs Oncology colleagues to execute the Medical Affairs Oncology strategy

  • Identify new opportunities, collaborate and communicate medical projects (including ESRs)

  • Collaborate and provide support to Medical Information

  • Provide medical support to Regulatory Affairs

  • Review in the sign-off process across the whole portfolio

  • Be responsible for internal training in therapeutic areas and across the portfolio

  • Provide input to R&D on clinical trials and ensure an optimal collaboration

  • Assure tasks are of correct quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements and internal standards

Essential requirements:

  • Master degree in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry or natural sciences

  • Thorough knowledge or experience with oncology in the pharmaceutical industry and/or the Medical Affairs function

  • Excellent knowledge in English and fluent in Danish languages.

  • Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, health care systems and payer structures in the Nordic and/or Baltic countries

  • Possesses business oriented thinking, and can apply this without compromising the scientific elements of the work

  • Proven ability to understand, assimilate and communicate scientific information

  • Ability to build strong professional relationships internally and externally

  • Structured and organized

  • Being able to keep deadlines without compromising on quality

  • High ethical standard and good knowledge in pharmaceutical marketing ethical framework

  • Driver’s license required
