As a Project Coordinator you will co-ordinate administration of collaborations and external projects, supporting collaboration and licensing groups. You will also manage group SharePoint sites and ensure reporting documentation is updated. You will also be responsible for escalates deadlines and outstanding actions to iStrategy Lead.
Collaborations and agreements support
Monitor/Manage the IMED Agreement Request Portal and route requests to the appropriate team
Manages the collaboration agreement process which includes obtaining legal team(s) decision, tracking contracting statuses and notifying project team(s), and initiating compound dispatches to external collaborators with the Chemistry Leads
Facilitate accurate collaboration reporting by tagging requests with metadata and initiating manuscript reviews through the Publication Sign Off process
Monitor/Manage compound supplies for the Oncology Compound Toolbox
Organize Science Days, the Asia Pacific meeting, and additional external/internal External Sciences-led meetings
Licensing group support
Assist triage lead as needed to ensure AZ is seen as partner of choice, including monitoring status of actions and progressing these to completion.
Assist with ECHO updates to ensure that key documentation and exchanges with external partner are captured. This includes updating status of projects in ECHO as they move forward, or are rejected upon further review, or put on hold.
Assist head of search and evaluation with management and tracking of external portfolio of opportunities for those progressing beyond initial triage. This will include tracking resource allocation, priority, strategic area focus, milestones, basic metrics, MTAs, and CDA status.
Assist with tracking and managing MTA studies which support Go/No Go decisions for deals
Assist with coordination of more complex meetings with external parties to ensure AZ is seen as partner of choice
Organize biweekly update meetings between Licensing and SP&A groups
Generate quarterly reports summarizing performance metrics
Manage and update SharePoint site
Represent the Strategy team on the IMED Oncology Editorial team by collating key messages and postcards for the monthly business report
Organize monthly Strategy team meetings and maintain a forward-looking agenda
Ability to follow processes
Written and spoken communications in business & science
Specialist knowledge in relation to administrative/business support activities in the relevant area
Competent in the use of relevant office equipment and systems
Collaboration skills and tools
Can create and maintain systems for efficiency for both self and others
Customer Service Skills
BSc in Science
Relevant vocational qualifications or equivalent experience
Team management skills
Comfortable communicating in both business and science
Comfortable reading scientific literature and study plans
