Talent Acquisition (TAq) is the HR function responsible for ensuring we hire the right people, in the right place, at the right time and the right cost into the organisation, to deliver our Bold Ambition. We have an opportunity for 2 Apprentice positions within TAq. This is a 2-year developmental role designed to provide a range of experiences and opportunities across the Talent Acquisition Centre of Expertise (TAq CoE).

You will be driven and ambitious, with a passion for People and will be seeking a career within HR, Talent Acquisition and AstraZeneca. Whatever your background you will be self-motivated, receptive to feedback and eager to develop – you will be given a range of projects and responsibilities where you can demonstrate this.

We are at the cutting edge of science, work at pace in an innovative environment and so it’s key that you are technology savvy, eager to learn and able to learn quickly. You will have the opportunity to develop your cultural awareness and will have access to senior leaders within the function. Working closely with the Global Directors from the TAq Centre of Expertise, across different cultures and geographies, you will provide support to projects and other administrative deliverables and may be aligned to one or more specialist area and project depending on size.

In addition to learning on the job, we will support your development with formal training and you will be able to gain an externally recognised HR qualification.

Entry requirements

Will possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs, Grades 9-4, including Maths and English, plus 2 A levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above (96 UCAS points on the 2017 tariff).
